I have a canon S750 printer on my old computer running Windows XP. I have a new laptop running Windows 7 connected via a home network. When I try to install the networked printer on the laptop, it says no driver found; the file '.INF' is needed, specifically 'Printer driver INF for Canon S750'. I previously moved the printer over to the laptop, and installed it there, where it worked, so a driver must be installed on the laptop, as well as on the XP machine of course. So presumably Windows 7 on the laptop is looking for the driver under a different name and/or in a different place from where it is currently installed. Windows 7 does ask where the driver is, but I have no idea where printer drivers are installed or what they are called.
